At JS Hubbucks Ltd we work very hard to ensure we provide the best products as well as an excellent level of service to our customers. We are really happy that our efforts in this have been recognised. It is our pleasure to announce that we are a finalist in the National SQP Awards 2022. They celebrate businesses and people that play a vital role in maintaining animal health.
What are the awards?
The health of animals is paramount in the agricultural industry. It helps improve the quality of produce and can also benefit farmers, people who work in agriculture, and the environment. OvertheCounter plays a crucial role in this. They publish a monthly magazine and arrange training and educational initiatives to improve product selection and point of sale. In addition they organise the SQP Awards to celebrate the people and businesses that excel in supplying the products.
The Awards are in conjunction with two of the biggest organisations in the industry. The first is AMTRA (Animal Medicines Training Regulatory Authority). They are a not-for-profit that has been supporting the RAMA/SQP sector since 1986.
The second is the Animal Health Distributors Association (AHDA). They support members in the prescription and sale of products.
On top of this the awards are supported and sponsored by some huge names in the industry. This includes NOAH and training provider Vetpol, as well as the main sponsor pharmaceutical company Boehringer Ingelheim.
The categories
The SQP Awards are in 13 categories. They celebrate everything from Farm SQP of the Year to Veterinary Practice of the Year. There are also awards for Lifetime Achievement, Newly Qualified SQP, and Nutritional Expertise. We are happy to be a finalist for Independent Store of the Year.
The awards lunch will take place on the 11th November 2022 in London. There will then be an after party to celebrate the winners.
